Meadow Lane Farm & Leonard Family Farm Our family farm has been raising quality beef cattle since 1919 near Louisburg, NC. Our Angus beef is naturally grown on rolling hills of pasture land with no added hormones nor antibiotics. All of our animals are born on the farm and we can track our natural beef from "conception to the table." Our farm is also "Beef Quality Assurance Certified" (BQA) with North Carolina and nation. Our animals are raised humanely and environmentally friendly on native pastures, grass and clover, and on our farm's oats, barley and rye. We are a "closed" herd, selecting only superior carcass-trait Angus bulls from throughout the United States. They spend their entire life on pasture, never confined to a factory feedlot. Also, we have purebread and commercial herds of Boer meat goats; chevon is available for purchase also.

In the fall of the year, our farm-raised pumpkins are ready for school groups in the region to visit and see a truly historic family farm... a real working farm. Hayrides, educational programs on farm life and crop/livestock, and a picnic area are available for only $7 per child (and they get a free pumpkin!).

We hope you will stop by and visit our farm. Give us a call and let us know you're coming!
