Uwharrie Crystalline Pottery This unique studio offers visitors an exciting hands-on opportunity to learn about the pottery craft. Specializing in Crystalline, the art of growing crystals on vases during the firing, these potters' U-Do-Raku process allows visitors to glaze a vase and watch as it is fired in a Raku kiln. In twenty to thirty minutes, a vase is ready! Tour Groups are welcome. Call to arrange a tour or for more information.
