Since the 1940s, this apple orchard has provided the best view in western North Carolina! One of the state's few pick-your-own apple operations, the orchard crests the top of a Brushy Mountain ridge where you'll see spectacular blue sky and tree-covered hills. From late August through mid to late October, owners Jimmy and Alice Land share this view with anyone who stops by to pick a bucket or bag with sun-warmed fruit. The orchard features old and new apple varieties. Asian pears, plums, peaches, nectarines, and other fruits are also available. Cash sales only.
