Here's the ideal place to cool off during hot summer months! A USDA watershed management project created Cabin Lake County Park and it features over 180 acres with excellent examples of North Carolina flora and fauna. There's a 69-acre lake for swimming and fishing. A wonderful pavilion makes a great place for picnics. And, you can choose from many, many nature trails to hike. Ideal for photography, birding, and hiking. Fee includes swimming, fishing, hiking, and picnics (except shelter reservations). Children age 5 and under are admitted free. RV & primitive campsites are available. Cabin Lake Park is a well-kept country secret. Discover it for yourself! That’s 4 miles north of Beulaville on NC Highway 111. Call, see the website, or email.
